Alex and the Flying Trapeze(or curtains!)

So life is never dull when you have a 4 year old like Alex. Today I told him to put his clothes on and get ready to run some errands. And as usual he became distracted with his own thoughts and mischeviour behavior and I caught him standing on the window sile above his bed, balancing himself with the curtains. He then leaped off and onto his bed and bounced. He said "Look Mom. Isn't that cool" And I said, "Don't do that anymore son because you will break the curtain rode". He said alright and I left it at that. Not five mintues goes by that I hear a crash. He comes out of the room and said that his curtains broke. I went to inspect and there was the rode broken in half. He instantly started to cry and tell me he "didn't mean to break the curtains". It goes in one ear and right out the other!
