This post is dedicated to memories of my Aunt Rosie. I felt inspired to write this on the way home from the party (with 2 plungers in tow). I was the first born, child, grandchild, niece, you name it, it was all wrapped up into one sweet little package. I was the light of my 15 year old aunties life! As I grew, Rose taught me many useful things. I recall many swims in the canal with Rose as the life guard. Or the time we "swam" in the muddy field after irrigation. Rose and Jenni custom designed a mud hat on my head. Or the time Rose taught me how to french kiss (I was 5 or 6) or the special technique she made me use to rub her feet which included kissing them when I was finished. I think my reward was a stick of gum. Rose's lips had Dr. Pepper chap stick on them for years, so all of her kisses were yummy. I enjoyed visiting her when I was 12 in Texas, just after she had McKenzie. We started Weight Watchers, went shopping, canned and sweated like mad from the humidity. I love you Rose. Thanks for adding to my wonderful childhood memories.

I love this tribute to your Aunt Rosie. Aren't aunts the best? I have a favorite aunt, and she has taught me many crafts and funny songs. Currently, she is teaching my youngest daughter to tippy-toe!
Thank you for sharing this precious glimpse into your life!
