Hang your clothes outside to dry instead of using the dryer
Use certified organic and fair trade products like Burt's Bees
Make your own eco friendly cleaner with Dr. Bronners Magic Soap
Recycle and reuse - sign up with your local freecycle to give away unwanted items
Cut down on use of plastic water bottles - refill old ones over and over again
Turn down your thermostat
Turn off the lights
Turn off computer or other standby electronics when not in use
Wear clothing more than once
Switch light bulbs to floresents
Shower every other day
Take shorter showers - started timing the girl's showers, I shave my legs with an electric shaver
Recycle everthing possible - rinse out cans, plastic, recycle all paper
Use a cloth duster for floors and to dust the shelves - no more Swiffer Sweeper Cloths
Cut down on paper products - we started using cloth napkins
