More weight dropped

Well, my total is about 6 pounds gone since I started Nutri System. But I REALLY HATE THE FOOD. And talk about wastfull, each meal has so much cardboard, wrapping and plastic that I feel so guilty even opening a package. Another pitfall is the havic the food as waged on my bowels. All the sodium makes my constipated. Unfortunatly, sitting in my master bedroom is a huge box of food with an average cost of around $400. I'm going to have to eat it!

On a lighter note, I watched on TLC Channel last Sunday, Paul Mckenna had his show called "I can make you thin." He shared four Golden Rules to follow. They are as follows:

1. Eat whenever you are hungry.
2. Eat only what you want, never what you think you should.
3. Eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful (eat slowly).
4. Stop when you even think your body is full.

Now I have to work on the emotional eating. That's this Sunday. I'll report back to you then.

Weight is a constant struggle for me. Constant. I just jumped back on the Weight Watchers Wagon and managed to lose a couple pounds the first week. Nowhere near six! You should be proud of that! Maybe the taste of the food will grow on you? :)

Emoitional eating is a problem for me too! I'm currently reading and working through 100 Days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangler. She has another book called Life is Hard, Food is Easy. I'd recommend them both.

Going to check out the Paul Mckenna site now!

I have to call you so you can tell me about the emotional eating episode. These are times when I wish I had cable in Folsom (or even a TV). Congrats on the six lbs!
