Christmas Party at Mom's House
I think everyone had such a great time yesterday at Robyn's House in Jackson (my mom). I was able to see cousins and aunts I haven't seen for some time. It was a mini family reunion. We were still missing quit a few people, Troy and Suzanna Rydalch, Mitch and Lauren Groseclose, most of the Nelson family, and Cheryl and Jim. But I don't think Mom and Jess's house would have held anymore!! We were busting at the seems.
We always play a white elephant gift exchange. The best wrapped gift with a huge Coach bag brought by Jenni. Rose grabbed that thing at her turn and guess what it was? A pair of decorated plungers Jenni used at girls camp this summer. Rose was so excited, but sadly knew there wasn't going to be room for them on her flight home to Texas. So when my lovely daughter Samantha decided to steal the plungers, Rose's eyes filled with tears! (Rose, if you want, we can ship them home to you!) Samantha is now the PROUD owner of a set of leopard print, black fur decorated plungers. I told her that her new job in the house is unclogging the toilets.

you've been having so much fun! You looked a little pooped from all that partying though. Come visit me and have some coffee!
You don't know how very, very proud I am to have "won" the white elephant contest!! The competition is stiff with all the loonies we have in our family...so this is a HUGE honor. I would like to thank all the little people who made this happen...also, my parents...my husband and children, the stake president for calling me to camp where I had the opportunity to be creative....and especially God for making me in the first place. Oh wait...I don't get a special statuette? That sucks!
